"Made in USA" gets thrown around a lot. For some businesses, it means the final assembly happened stateside while the parts came from everywhere else. At Sparky's Woodworks, it means something different — and something more.
From the Wood Up
We source our hardwoods from Woodworker's Source out of Arizona — a USA supplier that hand-selects quality domestic and exotic hardwoods. Our stains and finishes come from MinWax, made in the USA. Our paints come from DecoArt, also made in the USA. The only exceptions are the LED and electronic components used in our edge-lit and back-lit signs, which are sourced overseas — and we'll tell you that straight up, because we believe in being honest about it.
Everything else — the wood, the stain, the paint, the finish, the hardware — is American-made. And every single piece is precision-carved and hand finished right here in our Missouri shop by human hands. Not a laser. Not a Cricut. Not a print-and-cut machine. Hands.
Why It Matters to Us
We're not flying a Made in USA flag because it's a good marketing angle. We do it because we believe in it. We believe in supporting American suppliers, American workers, and American craftsmanship. We believe that the things you bring into your home should be built to last — not designed to be replaced in two years. And we believe that when you know exactly where something came from and how it was made, it means more.
That's what #MissouriMade means to us. It's not a hashtag. It's a standard.

Our pieces aren't disposable. Precision-carved from solid domestic and exotic hardwoods, hand sanded, hand stained, and hand finished — with proper care, our items will outlast the people who own them. That's not a boast. That's just what happens when you use quality materials and take the time to do it right.
