Sparky's Woodworks Is Now an Approved HCDE Vendor

We're proud to announce that Sparky's Woodworks has been approved as a vendor for the Hamilton County Department of Education (HCDE) in Tennessee. This means HCDE teachers, administrators, and staff now have direct access to our custom wood merchandise, spirit items, and handcrafted gifts — all precision-carved and hand finished right here in Missouri.

What This Means for HCDE

As an approved HCDE vendor, Sparky's Woodworks can create custom wood products for schools, departments, and staff — personalized plaques, spirit signs, branded merchandise, fundraiser items, awards, and more. If your organization has a logo, a mascot, or a message, we can carve it into real hardwood and hand finish it to last a lifetime. No vinyl, no stickers, no shortcuts — just genuine craftsmanship made in the USA.

Who Can Work With Us

Beyond HCDE, we're open to working with schools, churches, non-profit organizations, businesses, and municipal offices of all kinds. If you have a logo and a vision, we'd love to talk. Custom orders are a big part of what we do, and we take them seriously.

Let's Build Something Together

If you're an HCDE teacher, administrator, or staff member interested in custom wood products, reach out through our contact page and let's get the conversation started. We're excited to bring Sparky's Woodworks craftsmanship to Tennessee — and we can't wait to see what we build together.

Much 💙 from the shop!

The viewpoints, tips, tricks, ideas, and item care suggestions shared in this blog are solely those of Sparky's Woodworks and are based on personal experience in our own shop. Your experience may differ. Nothing here is intended as professional woodworking instruction or advice. Always read your tool manuals, wear appropriate eye, ear, and respiratory protection, and exercise caution with all power tools and equipment. Sparky's Woodworks is not responsible for the outcome of your projects or anything that happens in your shop.

The longevity and appearance of any wood item depends on much more than how often it's re-oiled or re-stained. How and where an item is displayed or used, along with factors like lighting, temperature, and humidity or moisture exposure, all play a significant role in how your piece ages and what kind of maintenance it will need over time. Every customer's environment is different, and item care is as unique as the home it lives in. We're happy to share what works for us — but the care of your item is ultimately in your hands, and we wouldn't have it any other way. Have specific questions about caring for your piece? Drop us a note — we're always happy to help.
