Sparky's Woodworks Is Now a Registered Trademark

Sparky's Woodworks Is Now a Registered Trademark

We have some big news to share. On January 13th, 2026, the United States Patent and Trademark Office officially approved and registered the Sparky's Woodworks® trademark. This has been nearly a year in the making, and we couldn't be more proud to have it official.

What This Means for the Brand

Federal trademark registration gives Sparky's Woodworks exclusive rights to our name and brand identity in connection with our products — and legal standing to protect them. It's a milestone that reflects how seriously we take what we've built here in Missouri. We're not a hobby. We're not a side hustle. We're a real business with a real brand, and now we have the federal registration to back it up.

When you see the ® next to our name, it means you're buying from a brand that has been vetted, registered, and protected at the federal level. That matters to us — and we hope it matters to you too.

What's Next

The trademark is one more foundation stone in building Sparky's Woodworks for the long haul. We'll keep doing what we've always done — precision-carving real hardwood, hand finishing every piece in our Missouri shop, and making products that are built to last generations. The ® just makes it official.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this brand from the beginning. You made this possible.

Much 💙 from the shop!

The viewpoints, tips, tricks, ideas, and item care suggestions shared in this blog are solely those of Sparky's Woodworks and are based on personal experience in our own shop. Your experience may differ. Nothing here is intended as professional woodworking instruction or advice. Always read your tool manuals, wear appropriate eye, ear, and respiratory protection, and exercise caution with all power tools and equipment. Sparky's Woodworks is not responsible for the outcome of your projects or anything that happens in your shop.

The longevity and appearance of any wood item depends on much more than how often it's re-oiled or re-stained. How and where an item is displayed or used, along with factors like lighting, temperature, and humidity or moisture exposure, all play a significant role in how your piece ages and what kind of maintenance it will need over time. Every customer's environment is different, and item care is as unique as the home it lives in. We're happy to share what works for us — but the care of your item is ultimately in your hands, and we wouldn't have it any other way. Have specific questions about caring for your piece? Drop us a note — we're always happy to help.
