Day 7 - Not Much to Share

Not a whole lot to say today. Got the morning started a little late. BP reading was higher than the night before (145/86), but still better than a week ago by a long shot.

Pretty uneventful day in the shop — finishing up new boards and trays, carved some cool USA patriotic bows, and knocked out some new license plates for the Fox School District in Arnold. Hopefully everything will be ready for delivery to Contemporary Finds and Madd Heifer this weekend.

We picked up a cute little Instant Pot today and started browsing DASH recipes to try, which means a grocery run is coming. I feel hungry all the time right now. I'm eating fruit as fast as the wife brings it in, and I haven't had a Pepsi in several days. No real plan yet — just one day at a time, trying to cut back on sugar and salt. Very boring. For dinner I made a 14" thin crust pizza with a light olive oil glaze, part-skim mozzarella, a little Swiss, shallots, green peppers, and Mrs. Dash table seasoning. Where's the pepperoni? Where's the Italian sausage? Like I said... boring.

Evening BP reading was pretty awesome: 122/74. It seems my BP runs higher in the morning and lower in the evening — not sure what that's all about, but hopefully the docs will have some insight.
